Upscaled Baby Welcome
Set in the beautiful Boca Raton, Florida was my next event space. A waterfront venue that lent its green pond hues to the color scheme, I put together an upscale and bris and baby naming. Scheduled for the evening, the client asked for something different and more mature. Unlike your usual baby showers which tent to feature lots of soft pastels, animals and other baby kitch, this event called for something deeper. Jeweled teals, sage greens with touches of gold and crisp white allowed for a classic and luxurious canvas that still felt soft and precious. The dessert bar and photo backdro
p really set the tone to welcome baby. I used a soft satin deep teal backdrop to showcase a stunning large gold circle arch adorned with white poppy's, blush roses and breathy pampas grass. Using a vintage style wagon table added to the playfulness of the event. Gold chargers and emerald green napkins set on neutral table linens elevated the party perfectly for the five o'clock evening invite time. When planning an event it's important to think out of the box to create something unique and interesting. Not always does the theme call for the first thing that pops into your head when you think of 'baby'. When using color schemes don't necessarily go with your theme, it's best to find ways to incorporate theme elements in your chosen colors. The result is a sophisticated and unexpected, well received surprise. The ceremony was fun and elegant and overall a great success.
